A local restaurant wanted to take their entire operation online, giving customers a modern, convenient way to browse the menu, place orders, book time slots, and inquire about catering, all from a single platform. Without a digital presence, the business was missing pre-orders, limiting pickup efficiency, and handling catering inquiries through informal channels. Challenges We Solved
No Digital Ordering Channel
The restaurant had no online presence for orders. Customers had to call or walk in, limiting order volume and creating unnecessary back-and-forth for both staff and customers.
No Menu or Availability Visibility
Customers had no way to check what was available, browse combo offers, or confirm whether the restaurant was open before making a trip or placing a call.
No Promotions or Loyalty Mechanism
The owner had no structured way to offer personalized discounts or vouchers to specific customers, making it difficult to run promotions or reward regulars without manual coordination.
Catering Inquiries Were Unstructured
Event and family catering requests came through informal channels with no dedicated flow, making them easy to miss and hard to track or respond to in a timely way.
How We Delivered
Menu Browsing and Favourites
Built a structured menu module covering meals, snacks, and combo offers with a clean, easy-to-navigate interface. Customers can save favourite items to their profile for faster reordering, reducing friction for repeat customers.
Flexible Ordering with Slot Selection
Designed and developed a complete order placement flow supporting both pickup and dine-in, with advance time slot selection so customers can plan ahead and the kitchen can manage incoming order volume without being overwhelmed.
Secure Payments and Order Tracking
Implemented secure online payment processing within the ordering flow, with real-time order tracking and status notifications keeping customers informed from confirmation through to pickup or table service.
Voucher and Discount Code Management
Built a voucher generation system where the restaurant owner can create and assign personalized discount codes to individual users. Codes are applied at checkout, giving the owner a direct tool for promotions, loyalty rewards, and event-specific offers.
Catering Inquiry Module
Added a dedicated catering inquiry flow for personal and family events, giving the owner a structured way to receive and review large-order requests directly through the website rather than through informal phone or social media channels.
